There are 33: symptoms of anxiety and muscle tension/muscle pain is one of them--anywhere in the body. Do you clench your jaw during sleep? Bruxism can be caused by chronic or extreme anxiety and can cause its own problems--broken teeth being the extreme. Get a physical and then read up on anxiety:
