Scabies: Itching or rash may persist for 1-2 weeks after treatment. Clothes, bed linens must be decontaminated by machine washing at 60°C or higher. Insecticidal spray or powder must be applied to items which cannot be washed. Treat all the infected family members or roommates. If symptoms persist after 2 weeks, may need re-treatment
