No peroxide!: DON'T use peroxide;it would make the pain worse. If you've already been examined and diagnosed with an ear canal infection and you're using antibiotic ear drops without relief, call the on call Dr. or go to the ER; you may need a prescription for an antibiotic to take by mouth, and possibly even an ear wick (a small strip that is put in the ear canal to help get the antibiotic drops in deeper).
