What is the ideal macronutrient for body building, maintenance and weight loss?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Just call it FOOD: Lean meats, egg white, some fish, some nuts, etc... and lots of veggies. Some veggies can be raw, others can be cooked... lots of variety! Whole grains like brown rice, corn, etc..., are fine (but not in large amounts). Beans have protein (fruits don't really have protein). If one stretches the definition of veggies, he can even include the "fruit veggies" such as tomatoes, cucumbers. Avoid sugar.
