ACL Stiffness: ACL surgery involves cutting skin, soft tissue and drilling bone. Stiffness early on is common and rehab exercises are encouraged and may take 4 - 6 weeks to get back to near full motion. If redness, increasing swelling or drainage develops consider getting back with your surgeon. Postoperative pain and inflammation is a normal expected part of recovery and generally resolves with time.
