My daughter is having mcl surgery.. i cannot find much about it or the recovery online. is recovery similar to an acl reconstruction?

MCL repairs R not-: -common these days. If a bone fragment came off with the ligament, it's a faster recovery as it is fixed solidly by wires or screws. If this a reconstruction, about the same as an ACL as far as recovery, which again depends on what is used as the graft. Expect a brace with limited motion, especially in extension. In extension the MCL is very tight so usually it's @ about -30 of extension.&rehab.
