A member asked:

I got femoral nerve damage from the nerve block given at the time of my acl surgery.. 12 months post op and i still cant lift my leg. will i ever be able to?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Neurology consult: Need to know exact block, what local anesthetic used and concentration. Also should look into how the lev was placed during surgery to see if pressure on the nerve was possible during procedure. Most likely will need an EMG to identify nerve affected and when injury occurred.
