Time will tell : This sounds quite a long time for reversible neuropraxy. A referral to a neurologist might be a good idea

Neurology consult: Need to know exact block, what local anesthetic used and concentration. Also should look into how the lev was placed during surgery to see if pressure on the nerve was possible during procedure.
Most likely will need an EMG to identify nerve affected and when injury occurred.
