Have you considered: a work-up?Honestly,if one lives long enough(age 48)one will develop back pain.Ask around.The best way to recover is through exercises,stretching,pain relief meds when necessary,& avoidance of activity associated with the injury.As long as there is no radiation,numbness,weakness down the legs,and no incontinence,your pretty much ok.Go get seen&best of luck...
