Addiction symptoms: I guess the first thought I have is why would you take a pill that is not making you feel any different? If the pill has no effect then continuing to take it may very well be evidence of an addiction.

Dependence: You can become addicted to or dependent on a medication even if you don't notice it's effects. Some medications are dangerous to stop suddenly. Always discuss stopping medications with your physician.
