May be cancer: Worry is appropriate. This may be a symptom of uterine or cervical cancer. If she is willing to see any doctor at all, a gynecologist would be the first choice.

RO Ca: If there is no spontaneous bleeding from vagina, then penetration possibly with contact of the cervical os is inducing the bleeding episode. Rare to come from a primary vagina lesion unless extending from cervix. With cerical contact a squamous lesion of the os or endocervical canal can induce bleeding describe. Culposcopy , possible bx and Pap smear should be performed.
