Depends on provider: For most adults with a chronic recurring issue like this I would expect to be seen at least once to twice a year. A refillable prescription for the appropriate medicines would be routine as long as the regular followup was done. Others might have a different approach. Much of these patterns are driven by the standards set by the medical boards.
