A member asked:

Why would my years of foot pain now cause shooting pains up the front of my legs?

Dr. Lee Stein answered

Neuropathy: If you have years of foot pain then develop numbness in legs. You may need to be worked up for Peripheral Neuropathy. I see it in my office daily and it's very common. See your doctor. Also, keep in mind it can be other things too. Peripheral Neuropathy usually starts in the toes and works its way up the legs.
