Pain meds for a failed mfx (extremely painful ossification unde patella and trochlea): neither codeine nor oxycontin helped. how about ultracet (tramdol and acetaminophen)? or?

Possibly: Ultracet (tramdol and acetaminophen) is a reasonable option but for most patients is weaker than codeine and oxycontin. Other options would be hydrocodone and morphine. An injection directly into the knee may also help, and if all else fails you may need surgery.
