How long do you have to avoid school with peroneal sublaxtion tendon surgery? what is it like? casting? painful?

Peroneal subluxation: The surgery to re groove the fibula and possibly repair the tendon would require 4-6 weeks of healing and non weight bearing- no walking. Followed by 3-4 weeks maybe longer if physical therapy. If you are taking pain medications then school would be out. If can use crutches at school then maybe 1-2 weeks after surgery. Casting or a cast boot. Pain is related to spasms
