Normal?: Mucus in your stools can be normal. It is not necessarily a sign of infection or inflammation in the colon. If you're having no pain, diarrhea, constipation, blood in your stool or fevers, I would not be too concerned. If it persists for another week, you should be evaluated by your doctor.
