Unlikely: Hypothyroidism affects many organ systems and can cause weight gain, fatigue, swelling, hair loss, constipation, heavy periods, muscle cramps, excessive sleepiness, but I have not heard of it causing seizures. However, if you have a seizure disorder, it could affect the metabolism of medications for seizures, changing the blood levels of these medications, and in that way affect seizure tendency.

Probably not: Hypothyroidism affects every organ and process in your body, so i can say it hasn't affected your seizures, but that's unlikely. It may affect your body's metabolism of your meds however. Luckily, proper replacement with brand name T4 can bring your thyroid level back to normal, and then it will be just like you never had a problem to begin with.
