After brain surgery & 3+ yrs seizure free, hubby noticed nocturnal generalized seizures. mri only surgical changes & eeg not abnormal, causes/ treatment options/ was this happening all along & just being noticed b/c now sleep together?

Possible: It could be because there is a partner to witness events as seizures often do occur during sleeping. Also, there are many delayed effects of surgery and a post-surgical seizure disorder can occur up to 5 years out of surgery. EEGs are usually normal. Please consider treatment and discuss with your neurologist.
