Sacroiliac joint : Wild guess bone taken from crest of ilium, which is large pelvic bone. Many surgeons ignorant this method of bone harvesting also injures iliolumbar ligament that tethers ilium to sacrum. Not infrequently this harvest procedure permanently loosens sacroiliac joint, leading to chronic low back pain & chronic sciatica. Does not show up on x -ray (med lit). See osteopath for hands-on exam.
