PN drip: Postnatal drip can give you a sore throat and if thick enough it causes ear pain by not allowing your ear tubes to empty out in the back of your throat.

Referred pain: You can get referred ear pain when you have a sore throat. Nerves that go to your throat also provide sensation in your ear so you may feel pain in both locations. Most likely you have a pharyngitis and it should go away in a few days. If t persists see your doctor.
