Two different things: These two lab results mean two different things. White blood cell (WBC) elevations can be seen in a variety of benign conditions, but may also indicate something more serious. How high is your WBC count? A positive hemoccult test means you may have gastrointestinal bleeding (there are false positives) from something simple like hemorrhoids to something more serious like cancer. See your doctor.
