Possibilities...: This means there was a small amount of microscopic blood in the urine sample. One of the most common reasons for a female is having your menses at the time the sample was obtained. Another common reason is if a catheter was inserted to obtain the sample. If neither of these explains it, it might be best to repeat the urine test and pursue further tests if the blood is still present.
