What can cause cold chills from the back of the neck to the head?

No fever?: If it doesn't repeat or persist, i wouldn't make anything of it. On the other hand, if you have a fever, or it is recurring/persisting, i would consider an infection a possible cause. Otherwise, nothing to fret about.
