Lifting injuries: Neck or back pain that starts with a lifting event usually suggests poor technique. Reaching away from the body, then bending/twisting while lifting is asking for problems. If pain is recent, in the midline, and getting better, then nothing to do. Rest, ice, otc pain meds, salonpas hot patches. Mckenzie pt if no better, but requires md prescription.
