Evaluation: It's certainly not normal. If this is a new thing, i would see your doctor to evaluate it. Kidney disease, heart issues, blood clot, medication side effects...Are some of the things that should be ruled out.

Yes: You should visit your doctor right away. Feet sweilling ( edema ) could be a sign of a heart condition called " heart failure " which it could be a complication of uncontrolled diabetes.
