Are you sure it is: In the muscle? Or maybe more superficial, in the subcutaneous tissue? Doesn't sound serious, unless there is weakness in the leg. If it is loss of sensation, its is nerve to the skin of the area that is affected. A small area is of little significance, unless you have other symptoms.
