Unlikely: As a rule, appendicitis does not typically come and go -- it typically gets progressively worse.

RLQ pain: This could be from multiple possible sources, including your ovary and tubes, the right side of the colon, particularly at the ileocaecal valve, etc. Appendicitis is always a consideration, but very unlikely if it is intermittent. Appendicitis, absent definitive treatment seldom remits. But anything is possible. Go see a doctor.

Anything: Most people think their whole abdomen is their stomach, but the stomach is in the upper middle or upper left of the abdomen. If your lower abdomen hurts, that could be your skin, muscles, bladder, uterus, or intestines. If the upper part of your abdomen hurts, it could be acid reflux, pancreatitis, or other problems. See a doctor for an assessment.
