Multivitamins: I would recommend that people take a daily multivitamin. In addition, I would also recommend supplementing with Vitamin C and Vitamin D (especially in colder climates). There is some evidence against taking anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen or elderberry in light of the current COVID-19 crisis, but that has not been studied thoroughly.

Vitamins, minerals: There is no evidence that any vitamins or minerals or supplements help to prevent coronavirus infection. The possibility of anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen worsening infection was suggested but a French Health Minister but not supported by any evidence and not supported by most scientists and physicians who have weighed in. Vitamins and minerals won’t hurt you but will probably not help.
