Antibiotic diarrhea: Read you label. If it can be taken w/food, do so; if not take w/at least 8oz water & stay upright for 1 hour after dose. Antibiotic associated diarrhea is unfortunately expected but if you are having more than 3 watery stools/d call your doc to get tested for c. Difficile. C diff is an intestinal spore usually controlled by our normal gut bacteria. Antibiotics kill our flora, and these overgrow.

Notify your doc: He may decide to switch them for you. Probiotics may be helpful, or eating yogurt which contains them, must be cautious for c difficule as well.
