A member asked:

My possition dizziness is over, but still lightheaded , what can i do?, guestion 2; can i still consume alchohol with this problem?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Postural vertigo: If you experienced a viral labyrinthritis, likely remits within 2-3 weeks at most, but if you have tendency for positional provocation, such as benign positional vertigo, an epley maneuver can be useful. If you still have some vestige of light-headedness or dizziness, best to avoid alcohol until fully symptomatic, and even then start with solitary glass of wine or one bottle of beer.
