Can check BP, anemia: A person who gets overheated will automatically dilate (widen) the blood vessels in his skin so that more blood will flow to the skin. His body does this in hopes of cooling him down, just like the elephant who sends more blood to his ears to cool his body down. The person, however, feels lightheaded and may faint because there is not enough blood flowing his brain (too much blood is in the skin).

Vasovagal Response: Most likely a neurally mediated low bp. In this condition blood vessels tend to expand, which leads to pooling of blood in the lower parts of the body. As a result, less blood reaches the brain and this causes fainting an individual’s susceptibilityto this varies day to day based upon hydration status , salt alcohol intake etc...Take shorter showers and baths and aim for a cooler water temp.
