A member asked:

I have heard about lipus (low intensity pulse ultrasound), that it regrows natural tooth. is this true?

Not widely available: Researchers at the university of alberta have used lipus to gently massage teeth roots and jawbones to cause growth or regrowth, and have grown new teeth in rabbits after lower jaw surgical lengthening (distraction osteogenesis) (american journal of orthodontics, 2002). But this technique is not generally available to re-grow teeth yet. Dental implants are the option for now.
