A member asked:

Dr wanted to remove mole then looked at it with dermascope and said actually it's fine. why is that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dermatoscope : A dermatoscope may be used by a dermatologist to observe and magnify certain skin structural patterns indicative of atypical moles or melanoma. Typically you would follow up with this dermatologist to see if the mole evolves and to have another dermatoscope evaluation.
