Not usually: Asprin and Plavix (clopidogrel) really shouldn't cause wound complications. I would be more worried about any underlying atherosclerosis causing poor wound healing (as that is likely why you are on Aspirin and plavix).

Not necessarily : Blood thinners such as Plavix (clopidogrel) and Aspirin do not impair normal wound healing. As one ages- definitely the wound healing capability is impaired. This is secondary to higher rates of diabetes, cv disease, and other metabolic disorders.
