G.e.r.d and h.pylori both confirmed. never had g.e.r.d until i had pylori. why are they found in the same case? stomach really sore from antibiotics.

Causal effect: Helicobacter pylori is a bacteria known to contribute to stomach ulcer and gerd symptoms. It is relatively common. If you have never before had gerd symptoms, it is most certainly related. The antibiotic regimen is difficult to tolerate but see it through, and the gerd should resolve. I also recommend a daily probiotic.
