See your doctor: A sore or an ulcer that doesn't heal in that area could be different things. Only a doctor can run the necessary testing or recommend a biopsy to exclude a serious underlying or causing illeness. Diabetes, venous insufficiency , arterial insufficiency or cancerous ulcers are ammong the differentials.

contact dermatitis?: How big an area? It is possible that contact with something in shoe is causing a contact dermatitis. Could wear organic cotton socks to prevent contact and cover lining of shoe with cork. Possibly vit d oil topically would be healing. It could be midly infected if sore. Bactroban (mupirocin) is a helpful anti-bacterial can soak in vinegar is not irritating as an anti-fungal. If doesn't heal go to md.
