A member asked:

I have swelling feet and calves. what could be the cause? i was checked for kidney disease and all is fine. all my blood is fine. what else could it b

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below.: Edema of the lower extremities comes from liver or kidney disease or from heart pump failure or to leaky vessels or excess sodium in diet. See doc to make sure we have crossed all items off list. If none of the above it is idiopathic edema caused by a slight imbalance in the hydrostatic pressures in the leg vessels. Sometimes due to prior infection / trauma or obesity.
