Rotator cuff tear: That is just a fancy way to say you have torn your rotator cuff. The rotator cuff is a group of four muscles that allow you to move your arm away from your body. The good thing about your cases is a partial tear can heal, where in a complete tear the ends pull apart and the tear can not heal. Thank you for the question.

MRI diagnosis: The best results happen when a clear diagnosis is established with a detailed examination and history and confirmed with testing such as an MRI or emg, not the other way around. Be careful about having surgery based on an MRI report. Learn more: http://www.Theshouldercenter.Com/shoulder-pain.Htm and http://www.Theshouldercenter.Com/rotator-cuff-tear.Htm.
