GERD: Could very like be caused by gastric reflux. Please see your md for further evaluation. There are ways to treat this problem and make life much better.

See your medical doc: You should see your medical doctor. You may have strept throat. If you are a smoker this may also be a factor. You could have infection as well.

Infection or reflux: You could have an infection, you could have reflux esophagitis, causing pain in your throat if your "heart burn" is severe. Either way, i agree with the other dr.'s...Get evaluiated by your dr. To get diagnosed and treated. Good luck.
