It sounds like you have a throat infection and if it's asymmetrical (more on one side) it's more likely to be strep which should be treated to prevent complications like rheumatic heart disease. You also could have thrush, a fungal infection that needs explanation. Having said that it's most likely you have viral pharyngitis which must run its course. Go to a clinic or ER and get a strep test.
