Get new temp: Long term success of root canal treated teeth is strongly influenced by maintaining a coronal seal. With the temp filling not present bacteria from your mouth can migrate into the root canal system and cause reinfection. The longer it stays open the better the odds of reinfection so get back to the dentist and have the temp replaced asap.

Call the office ASAP: Call your dentist's front office and schedule a time for you to go in and get a new temporary. Otherwise, the crown may not fit and will have to be remade if it doesn't fit properly so save yourself the trouble and time by going in and getting a new temporary crown made as soon as you can.
