A member asked:

How will hrt affect me if i am diabetic?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HRT has good affect: A study of women with type 2 diabetes found that improved Insulin sensitivity (measured by an euglycemic-hyperinsulinemic clamp) after estrogen therapy was mainly because of increased Insulin sensitivity of the liver, resulting in increased insulin-mediated suppression of hepatic glucose production. So hrt does help control diabetes.
