Case-by-case: There are many helpful treatments for menopausal symptoms, and these are best reviewed individually. That way, your doctor can look at your personal heath risks, including family history & make reasonable suggestions for you. Hrt is not a "blanket" treatment for everybody, but bioidentical hormones can surely help some. There are also botanicals that can help; some antidepressants too.
