Cauda Equina: Well, emergency surgery, for one. Loss of bladder control is considered an emergency by most surgeons. That being said, cauda equina syndrome is also usually associated with severe back pain, and saddle numbness (around genitals and rectum). If you are just having pain and a little stress incontinence (dribbles) that's a different story. At age 38, i must say I am concerned especially if > 2 days.

Serious Symptoms: Low back pain in conjunction with loss of bladder control can signify a serioius condition needing immediate attention. This is not normal. I would see your doctor immediately or even consider going to the emergency room. Compression of spinal nerves can cause these symptoms. When compression of spinal nerves causes symptoms such as bowel/bladder dysfunction this could be known as myelopathy.
