When you can: To my knowledge, there is no better time for working out. The important thing is to do it, sometime. The hardest thing is to work it into your schedule on a regular basis, 30 minutes a day or more, so whatever works for you is best - there are many health benefits such as reducing risk for heart disease, arthritis, obesity, diabetes, and probably cancer.
