Can you still have kids if you have prostate cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The cancer isn't: The issue, the treatment is. Some prostate cancer can be "watched and waited". Surgery removed the prostate and disconnects the vas deferens. Xrt methods will diminish semen volume, but there may still be viable sperm, so fertility may not be abolished. Hormones decrease libido. All treatment risks ed long term, surgery does it early may return.
