A member asked:

When you donate blood, and it's screened for any problems, would they tell you if they found anything?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Blood is screened for certain viral infections such as hepatitis and hiv. Also if certain parameters our out of range (such as anemia, etc) you will be notified by the blood bank and told to followup with your primary physician.
