Needs thorough eval: How long febrile episode lasts? Has she had a serious infection such as meningitis, pneumonia, or kidney infection? Has she had swollen gland or sores in mouth while she ran fever? How's her weight and height for age? Does she attend daycare? Any further work-up depends on the answer to these questions.
