There are some prescription topical medications which can be used for some cases and occasionally even radiation treatments. No: Treatment depneds on the size and depth of the basal cell carconoma. Superficial skin cancers can be treated with prescription topical chemotherapy. Deep lesions require surgical resection. The sooner the better, as they tend to get bigger and bigger.
