Treat the ear: Assuming you didn't have vertigo initially: if you have both an ear infection and vertigo, then it is very likely that the ear infection caused the vertigo. As you treat the ear infection, the vertigo should improve. However you might need to take some meds to help with the acute symptoms of vertigo.
