Follow the DR's : Advice. Clexane is a blood thinner that prevents clot formation in the legs or lungs routinely given to patients after hip surgery . Prolonged immobility after surgery can predispose a person to develop clot because of stagnant circulation from lack of activity. Ask her dr for any concerns. God bless you and your mom!
